CRA | Admired Leadership Lunch and Learn w/Diana Futrovsky
Most leaders spend most of the day communicating and almost none of it planning how. They send the email, hold the meeting, make the announcement, and then wonder why it landed differently than they intended. Most conclude they weren’t clear enough, so next time they explain harder. That’s rarely the problem.
Our firm has spent four decades studying how leadership communication actually works, and what the best leaders think about and do when they communicate. Five things are always true about communication whether a leader is aware of them or not. The leaders who accept and adapt to these truths see results in productivity, credibility, and long-term relationships.
This session covers what those five things are, using examples and exercises. It then turns to listening, because what a leader pays attention to and hears determines what they’re able to say next. Participants leave with a method for planning any message that matters, and they can put to use straight away.
