Center for Women in Business
The Institute's Women’s Business Programs are results-driven advisory programs that support the profitable growth of established women-owned businesses including:
PowerLink Advisory Board
The PowerLink Advisory Board is a proven process of matching an established woman owned business with a customized team of advisors including a CEO, CPA and strategic marketing professional. The team may be further customized to include an operations expert, human resources specialist, strategic planner, banker, attorney or technology specialist. These advisors help you gain a new perspective on strategy, profitability, operations, capital, sales and other issues critical to success. Must meet select criteria; contact Lee Ann Munger, Director Center for Women in Business to learn if you qualify.
PowerLink WBE Super Panel
What if you could get everyone with all the answers together in one room? You present your company one time and a group of experts from municipal, state, federal and corporate procurement - including owners of companies who have obtained millions of dollars in contracts - tell you where the real opportunity is and how you can get it. That is the PowerLink WBE SuperPanel, a program that provides a forum for WBE-certified companies to develop an action plan for leveraging their WBE certification.
Learn more about PowerLink WBE Super Panel, contact Lee Ann Munger, Director Center for Women in Business.
PowerBuild
PowerBuild is a leadership development program in which a corporation selects a manager to be placed as the chairperson of a PowerLink Advisory Board. PowerLink provides support as the chairperson experiences firsthand all aspects of running a business.
